A life-long desinger, artist, and serial entrepreneur, specialized in management with Design Thinking. She established her business at the age of 19. She studied art, design, business thru her working experience and in the academic field.She holds bachelor of art from UC Berkeley and master of science degree in engineering and management from MIT.

デザイナー、アーティスト、起業家。いわゆるデザイン思考を生かしたマネージメントが専門です。19歳で起業し、実践でビジネスとデザインスキルを身につけたあと、業務拡大の為に2010年に渡米、アメリカで複数のビジネスを経営する傍ら、UC Berkeleyを首席で卒業し、2022年にMIT(マサチューセッツ工科大学)大学院にて、理学修士を取得しました。卒業後沖縄に移住し、株式会社See Em Why Kを立ち上げました。

Rook works with sampling, sound design, spatial sound, electronic music production, projection art and mapping. While having held various music art events in places such as Los Angeles, Berkeley, and Boston, He is always working towards creating more participatory and immersive art, events, and spaces.He is a researcher at the Spatial Sound Lab in Massachusetts Institute of Technology. "At SEE EM WHY K, I co-manage the shop and do day-to-day operations. I love having music discussions with customers who love music and subculture-related topics!"

ビートメイカー／視聴覚アーティスト。サンプリング、サウンドデザイン、空間音響、電子音楽制作、プロジェクション アート・マッピングなどをおこなっています。顔は縄文人、精神はヒップホップなロサンゼルス育ちの日系アメリカ人。see em why kでは、販売業務に加え、AR商品に連動した音楽制作や、イベント時の空間音響設計、選曲にこだわった店内プレイリスト／DJプレイ、子ども向けビートメイクワークショップの企画・実施など、「音」に関わるすべてを手がける。映像面では、プロジェクションマッピングの設営・操作や、AIを活用したアニメーション制作も担当。サブカル的な会話が大好き！

 I’m also a proud mom of two, doing my best to balance work and parenting every day!
